THQ goes under while its assets are picked over

Following THQ’s asset auction, the new homes of THQ franchises are slowly being revealed, including the fate of the 40K inspired "Dawn of War" franchise.

SEGA is likely to be the new owner of Relic, the deevloper of Dawn of War and Company of Heroes.

All of these sales are pending approval from U.S. bankruptcy court and nothing is finalized yet. A hearing is currently underway in Delaware.

SEGA, one of a number of companies bidding for the remains of THQ, has agreed to purchase Relic, developer of Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.
Many THQ employees have reportedly lost their jobs.
