The Season of the Blood Red Dawns - Kings of War Campaign at Wee Gamers

SEASON OF THE BLOOD RED DAWN
(A Kings of War campaign)

The seasons of war are upon us. As you look out over your Island kingdom you realise that the clearing mists, burnt away by the blood red dawn sun, reveal your enemies stealing upon you.

Whether you are mighty warrior elves brooding in your high towers or doughty dwarves reclaiming fortress cities that once stood on mountaintops, but now sit nestled on islands in the Sea of the Drowned Republic; mayhap thou art mighty men of valour carving out a new kingdom in the islands; perhaps the living dead seeking to breath un-death into the lands you once ruled in life; OR worse yet nefarious Gobbos, Orcs or Twilight Kin seeking simply to conquer and destroy all around you.... PREPARE!

The Season of Blood Red Dawns are here.

Can you defend your Island kingdom and then expand and conquer the archipelago, building a chain of colonies subservient to your will?  OR will you become a mere servant, subject to the will of the Islands’ mighty overlord?

Wee Gamers Interview ..... Matthew Sprange from Mongoose Publishing

Thus far Wee Gamers has teased the truth from award winners, innovators, and reclusive artists. After having touched minds with someone to whom Cthulhu is a close personal friend, where is there  left to go?

Well it was obvious when the Judge Dredd Kickstarter for Mongoose came to our attention.  The only thing scarier than a great old one, Old Stoney Face Judge Dredd.  Icon of the British comic 2000AD the lawman has graced it's pages since issue 2. What well adjusted lad of a certain age hasn't read through its pages and dreamed of delivering justice at the barrel of a Lawgiver?

Well our victim today gets to do that and more.

Ai! Fhtagn! Chaosium take the Orient Express to Kickstarter

Horror on the Orient Express is a Call of Cthulhu campaign that was released in 1991 as a boxed set. And I still remember it.  Though I never bought it I did get to have a look at it.  A thing of beauty indeed.

It included a 28-page Strangers booklet, a Campaign booklet, three adventure books, a 28-page Player's Handouts booklet, cardstock maps of the train, and various other maps and handout material. Everything you needed.

And it got rave reviews.

Now Chaosium have opened the portal to call upon great Cthulhu to get his Fhtagn on in Kickstarter!

Cthulhu meets Ireland with the help of a local author

"Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame!" —William Butler Yeats

Mysteries of Ireland, a 104 pages. 8.5 x 11" Perfect-Bound paperback written by a local archaeologist and Table Top North member, Colin Dunlop, has been published by Chaosium.  Colin has written quite a number of Call of Cthulhu scenarios, including competition scenarios for Q-Con.  Really glad to see his talent recognised by Chaosium and we can think of no better a person to write this book.
